Community Rules
PencilDrop is a place to colour, compete and enjoy other people's work. These rules keep it that way. They form part of the Terms of Use.
Colour the page
- Your entry is the page you were given, coloured in. Keep your ink inside the page. Entries whose drawing data has been altered to put ink outside the page's shapes are rejected.
- Do not use colour to create hateful, sexual or violent imagery, symbols or text.
AI-generated pages
Every colouring page in PencilDrop is drawn by an AI image model from a written prompt and then turned into line art by our software, and the app marks each page as AI-generated, with an explanation one tap away. A person on our team checks and approves every page before it is published. We keep a record of how each page was made, including the model, the date and the software version, and the page files carry that record too.
Not allowed
- Hate: content that attacks people for who they are.
- Harassment or bullying of any person.
- Sexual content of any kind.
- Graphic violence or gore.
- Likenesses of real people, or content that impersonates a person or organisation.
- Personal information about anyone, including yourself.
- Spam, advertising, or using PencilDrop's name or watermark to suggest we endorse something.
- Vote manipulation: multiple accounts, coordinated judging, trading judgements or automated tools.
- Invite abuse: inviting yourself, creating accounts to redeem your own invite, or trading invite codes for anything.
Display names
Display names appear on leaderboards. They must follow these rules and must not include slurs, sexual terms, contact details or the name of a real person you are not. Names are checked automatically, and we may reset a name that breaks the rules.
Reporting and blocking
- You can report any entry in two taps with a reason from a list. A reported entry is hidden from you straight away.
- Reports are reviewed by people, and an entry is never removed just because it was reported many times. Deliberately false reports count against your account.
- You can block a person. Their entries are then left out of your judging and your leaderboards.
Enforcement
Depending on how serious a problem is, we may:
- withhold an entry while it is reviewed;
- warn you;
- remove an entry, and reverse its points, placing and prizes;
- suspend your account for a period;
- permanently ban your account.
Every decision is recorded with a reason. You can appeal any decision from the app or by emailing hello@altdevapps.com.
